about lindey

lindey is a dedicated wife and mom of three in mccomb, mississippi. she has turned her craft into a successful business over the past five years with the help of adorable subjects and amazing client relationships that she truly treasures!
“being behind the camera is me in my element…watching real life happen through the lens & knowing i’ve captured that very moment that made everyone around me burst into laughter or break out a smile…that’s what it’s all about for me.” lindey’s love for photography has been a part of her since she can remember. she began serious work on her portfolio in late 2006 & is delighted to be offering her services to potential clients. she does value family time, and for this reason, lindey only books a limited number of sessions per month.
in 2009 lindey made the decision to focus all her creative energy on those subjects she enjoys most…babies and children. “my absolute favorite subject to photograph is a newborn baby…oh the satisfaction of curling a sweet newbie up and capturing him in that milk-drunk slumber before his littleness slips away forever is unmatched!” lindey also loves working with children and captures them in their own uniqueness…little people finish a session with her hardly realizing that they met to have their photograph taken.
lindey is a natural light portrait artist. she’s mastered shooting portrature in a natural light setting and does not use an artifical light source. she in no way stops with mearly captureing the image…lindey enhances each portrait she takes individually by post processing it with unique treatments in her ‘digital darkroom.’
“i love the process from start to finish! watching an image that started inside my own head go through the process of shoot, edit, show– finally ending in my client’s home on the wall as a big beautiful gallery-wrapped-canvas print for all to enjoy…well, it just rocks!” 😉

Shellie Sojourner Hey Lindey! I have three young children that are growing up way too fast and I’m dying to get pictures of them! I live in crystal springs, but I’ll be willing to drive wherever is convenient for you! My cell is 601-260-7676. My youngest is 15 months and I really want to capture him on film in the baby stage before he quickly moves to the toddler stage! Just let me know if you have anything available. Thanks so much!:)
